Climbing Society Fontainebleau Trip…

The total cost of the trip will be in the ballpark of £225 the deposit will be £90 and you will need to pay it to get a ticket. The 1st instalment over summer will be £80 due on the 15th of July and the final instalment will be £55 due late august to early September.

18 tickets will be released on a first come first serve basis available to members only, if there is a large interest more tickets could be released later but the price may be different.

What does the ticket include?

- Transport to and from Fontainebleau except for a train that is ~3€ 

- A campsite spot

- Bouldering mat rentals

What does it not include?

- Food

- Camping equipment

- Travel insurance

- ETIAS if required 

The exact dates we would be leaving are not set in stone but most likely we will be leaving in the evening on the 7th and get back around midday on the 17th of September

Upon arriving in Fontainebleau we would set up our tents, then go to the local supermarket to buy food after that the rest of the day will be exploring the local area and getting a good night sleep before going climbing.

The morning of the 2nd day in France we'd pick up our mats and start bouldering, we'll then be responsible for the mats for the next 7 days of climbing, on the last day of climbing we'll return our mats.

On the return to the UK, we will leave it to you guys to decide what you want to do, we'll pack up and then will have several hours to kill which we can do in Paris or in the font area.

To come on the trip, you will need a valid passport with a recommended 3 months left before expiry from the date we'd arrive back in the UK.

Cancellations and price changes:

Once all tickets are sold I will buy the bus tickets, if for whatever reason the price is different or they are no longer available everyone coming will be made aware of the change in price or date and will have the option to ask for a full refund.

Once the bus tickets are booked you will not get your deposit back.

If there are any unforeseen price changes they will be added to the 2nd installment, they should not exceed more than £10 and you will have the option to differ the payment to a later date if required.
