SU AGM (Annual General Meeting)…

Welcome to the Students’ Union AGM 26/27! 

The annual general meeting is your opportunity to directly shape what the SU is doing, who we’re doing it with, and how we’re using our funds to support students like you. This vital meeting occurs once a year and we do it to ensure that you, our members, can speak openly about the work we are doing and if you feel we are doing it well.  

At this AGM we’ll be discussing:

How we’ve allocated our finances and used it to enhance our members experience.

What your presidents have been up to on your behalf.

Our affiliation with BUCS, NUS and Welsh Student Sport.

Any student submitted ideas!

Papers can be found here once they are released on the 2nd November 17:00. (Link tbc)

SU Societies and Sports Clubs! Special notice for you – you are required to send at least 3 committee members to the AGM to maintain your status as a soc / club. (You can also just fill out the proxxy form, which counts as attending- The link for this becomes available after release of papers).

Student ID will be required for entry to this event!

Proxy Voting (For if you want to have your say, but cannot attend in person)

Made plans, unwell or cannot attend the AGM in person? No worries, you can vote via proxy! This is where you tell the Chair in advance how you would of voted on each item as if you were physically in the room. This counts as attending if you are a society/ sports club committee and fulfils your duty to send members.
